Job summary

Atlantic Group in Eddystone, PA is seeking a Construction Estimator to join a dynamic, learning-focused team. The role involves reading design plans, calculating quantities for reinforcing steel and accessories, and preparing detailed customer quotes.

You will work closely with the sales and detailing departments to manage project design details, communicate with customers, and ensure estimates are accurate and timely.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with industry software aSa & Shear 97 preferred.

We’re looking for someone eager to learn to join our dynamic and collaborative team as a Construction Estimator in Eddystone, PA.

Responsibilities:

• Read design plans and specifications provided by the customer
• Provide accurate quantitative summaries of reinforcing steel, wire mesh, or bar support accessories
• Collaborate closely with sales department to prepare detailed quotes for customers
• Coordinate and interact with sales and detailing departments throughout the project's lifecycle to manage design details
• Regularly communicate with customers as needed
• Identify, address, and document changes in the project to ensure accurate results
• Create estimates accurately and within deadlines

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel required
• Industry software (aSa & Shear 97) preferred
