Job summary

Jobot is seeking a detail‑oriented Estimator to join our construction team in the Michigan area. You will prepare accurate cost estimates for commercial, industrial, and institutional projects, analyze drawings and specs, and develop competitive bid proposals.

The role offers a strong compensation package with base salary 100,000 to 150,000 plus a performance bonus up to 10%, comprehensive benefits, generous PTO, and a 401(k) plan.

Qualifications

• 5+ years estimating experience in commercial, industrial, or institutional construction.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
• Proficiency with estimating software (Procore, Bluebeam).
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate and competitive cost estimates for construction projects across various sectors.
• Analyze project drawings, specifications, and RFPs to determine scope and requirements.
• Collaborate with project teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to secure competitive pricing.
• Develop detailed bid proposals and maintain organized records of estimates.
• Monitor project budgets and provide cost-tracking support during project execution.
