Job description

LHH is proactively recruiting for a Construction Estimator. This position is located near Allentown, NJ. It is 100% onsite and Direct Hire. The anticipated salary range for this position is $70,000-$95,000.

Responsibilities:

1. Analyze blueprints, specifications, and other documentation to prepare estimates for time, cost, materials, and labor.
2. Discuss and formulate estimates with clients, vendors, and construction team members, and resolve issues.
3. Develop detailed cost estimates for various project stages, including conceptual, schematic, and final estimates.
4. Monitor project costs to ensure adherence to budgets.
5. Review subcontractor bids for accuracy and completeness.
6. Collaborate with project managers and engineers to align estimates with project goals.
7. Maintain a database of historical costs and project data.
8. Prepare and present reports on estimates and budgets to management.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in construction management, Civil Engineering, or related field.
2. At least 5 years of experience in construction estimating.
3. Proficiency in estimating software such as Bluebeam, PlanSwift, etc.
4. Strong analytical, mathematical, and organizational skills.
5. Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
6. Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
