FlatironDragados is seeking an Estimating Intern for Summer 2027 in Houston, TX to work with our experienced estimating team and gain hands-on experience in construction cost estimation. You will assist in preparing discipline estimates and performing takeoffs from engineering drawings, while learning from industry professionals in a structured internship program.

Qualifications
- Current enrollment in Engineering, Construction Management, or similar program at an accredited technical college or university.
- Proficient with preparing estimates and takeoffs for construction disciplines.
Responsibilities
- Assist in preparing discipline estimates by calculating takeoffs of scope of work.
- Assist in calculating material quantity requirements from engineering drawings.
- Consult with clients, vendors, or others to discuss and refine estimates.
- Support design review options and cost-based recommendations.
- Help with project hand-off meetings between pursuit and project management teams.
