FlatironDragados is seeking an Estimating Intern to apply academic training in a real-world setting. You will assist the estimating team by preparing takeoffs, reviewing drawings and specifications, and helping convert data into cost estimates for assigned disciplines.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in an Engineering or Construction Management program.
• Ability to assist in preparing estimates and takeoffs.
• Strong math, analytical, and problem solving skills.

Responsabilités

• Aid in reviewing proposal specs and drawings to define scope of work.
• Assist in deriving unit and hour figures from historical data.
• Help prepare discipline estimates and material quantity takeoffs.
• Communicate with clients, vendors, and team members to resolve issues.
• Support design review options and cost-based recommendations.
• Participate in project hand-off meetings between pursuit and management.
