Job summary

Carolina Cat is seeking a diligent yard operations associate to maintain the equipment yard and support the shop and shuttle processes. The role focuses on safety, organization, and accurate equipment handling in a fast-paced environment.

You will photograph equipment, assess condition, refuel, and assist customers on the yard while supporting other areas as needed. A high school diploma and construction equipment experience are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience operating construction equipment.
• Must demonstrate strong organizational skills and ability to multitask.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Must show high levels of customer service.
• Self-motivated and driven to improve assigned functions.

Responsibilities

• Organization and maintenance of the yard
• Take quality photos of outbound/inbound equipment
• Evaluate equipment for customer damage
• Organize equipment and attachments for shuttle/transport
• Refuel equipment
• Operate and stage construction rental equipment
• Greets customers on the yard, helping direct them to officiate or unloading areas
• Maintain a safe working environment at all times
• Assist other areas/shops as needed
• Other duties as assigned
