Job summary

Carolina Cat in Charlotte, NC, a fourth-generation family-owned company, is seeking a hardworking team member to maintain our equipment yard and support on-site operations.

You will organize the yard, photograph outbound/inbound equipment, assess damage, refuel and stage rental gear, greet customers, and help keep a safe working environment while collaborating with other shops as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Experience with operating Construction Equipment is preferred.
• Excellent organizational skills and multitasking ability are essential.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills are important for this role.
• Demonstrated customer service mindset and proactive improvements are expected.
• Ability to multitask and stay organized in a busy yard environment.

Responsibilities

• Organization and maintenance of the yard.
• Take quality photos of outbound/inbound equipment.
• Evaluate equipment for customer damage.
• Organize equipment and attachments for shuttle/transport.
• Refuel equipment.
• Operating and staging Construction Rental Equipment.
• Greets customers on the yard and directs them to unloading areas.
• Maintains a safe working environment at all times.
• Assists other areas/shops as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
