Job summary

Central Power Systems & Services in Texas is seeking a Construction Equipment Technician to support our service mission. You will perform repairs and preventive maintenance on a full line of construction equipment, diagnose issues, and repair to OEM specifications.

This role requires strong troubleshooting, ability to read electrical and hydraulic schematics, and good communication with the Service and Parts teams. Class A CDL is preferred; overtime and on‑call duties may apply.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of construction equipment repair experience.
• Ability to read OEM specs and service manuals.
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
• Good written and verbal communication.
• Physically able to perform demanding repairs.

Responsibilities

• Perform all levels of repair and preventive maintenance on construction equipment.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot minor and major repairs.
• Read electrical and hydraulic schematics and diagrams.
• Create detailed repair scopes for quotes.
• Maintain relationships with customers, vendors, and factories.
• Work overtime and be on-call as needed.
