Job summary

ACT Construction Equipment is seeking a skilled Construction Equipment Mechanic to join our growing team in Charlotte, NC. You will perform planned maintenance, troubleshoot and repair mechanical issues, and provide solutions to keep heavy equipment in top condition.

Qualifications

• Experience with repair of construction or compact construction equipment.
• Working knowledge of hydraulic devices and hydrostatic operating systems.
• Electrical/CAN Bus troubleshooting experience.
• Knowledge of gas and diesel engines.
• Comfortable using diagnostic testing tools/computer diagnostics.
• Basic welding skills.
• Auto A/C system knowledge and experience.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Provide a high level of customer service.
• Have a full set of mechanics tools and basic electrical test equipment.
• CDL or Class B or eligible to obtain CDL is a plus.
• Must have acceptable driving record; may assist Road tech.

Requirements
