Job summary

Multiquip Inc. is seeking a Service Technician II to support maintenance, repair, troubleshooting, and testing of our construction equipment.

The role involves diagnosing mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues, conducting preventative maintenance, and ensuring equipment is returned to service safely and efficiently. The ideal candidate will be a self-motivated technician with strong troubleshooting abilities and a solid understanding of construction equipment systems.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of three (3) years of experience servicing current-model construction equipment (2020+).
• Experience diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
• Prior experience in construction/heavy equipment service environments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on construction equipment per service schedules.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, fuel, cooling, and related systems.
• Identify replacement parts and coordinate ordering to complete repairs.
• Perform repairs and reinstall components, ensuring proper function and safety.
• Inspect and maintain fuel, cooling and electrical systems; support trailer inspections as needed.
• Document service activities with accurate records and reports.
• Assist field service work and travel to customer job sites as required.
