Job summary

White Cap is seeking a technician responsible for preventive maintenance and repairs of construction equipment. You will inspect, diagnose, and repair electrical, hydraulic, and engine systems to meet manufacturer and customer specifications.

Basic requirements include a HS Diploma or GED and 2–5 years of related experience. Vocational training is a plus, and occasional lifting of heavy parts is expected in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED strongly preferred.
• Generally 2-5 years of experience in area of responsibility.
• Specialized skills training/certification may be required.
• Vocational or Technical training encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Inspects and conducts customer and warranty repairs including documenting with pictures or information.
• Conducts inspections for preventive maintenance and repairs.
• Diagnoses and repairs electrical systems, hydraulic systems, diesel and gasoline engines.
• Installs Salesman kits on new and used construction equipment.
• Inspects trade-in units to prepare for sale.
