Job summary

IES Commercial, Inc. – DBA IES Electrical, in Lithia Springs, GA, seeks a full-time Equipment Operator. The role moves heavy equipment and materials across project sites, conducts safety checks, and collaborates with construction teams to meet deadlines. Valid forklift certification and at least 3 years of experience are required; prior work on electrical data center projects is a plus. This position is on-site with strong safety expectations.

Qualifications

• Valid forklift certification and/or heavy machinery operator license.
• 3 years’ experience operating forklifts, tele handlers, and other construction equipment.
• Experience on electrical data center projects is a plus.
• Strong understanding of construction site safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts, tele handlers, loaders and other heavy machinery to move and position materials.
• Transport electrical components and tools across the project site.
• Perform daily equipment inspections and basic maintenance.
• Assist with loading/unloading and securing materials.
• Collaborate with construction teams to meet deadlines and support site phases.
