Job summary

IES Commercial, Inc. – DBA IES Electrical is seeking a full-time Equipment Operator in Lithia Springs, GA. Responsibilities include operating forklifts, tele handlers, and loaders to move materials, transporting components around the site, and conducting daily equipment inspections.

You will support construction teams while maintaining strict OSHA safety standards. Qualified candidates have a valid forklift certification and 3 years of relevant experience, with extra points for data center

Qualifications

Valid forklift certification and/or heavy machinery operator license.
3 years’ experience operating forklifts, tele handlers, and other construction equipment.
Experience on electrical data center projects is a plus.
Strong understanding of site safety and equipment operation standards.
Ability to read site maps and blueprints.

Responsibilities

Operate forklifts, tele handlers, loaders, and other heavy machinery to move and position materials.
Transport electrical components, tools, and other materials across the project site.
Perform daily equipment inspections and basic maintenance.
Assist with loading/unloading trucks and securing materials.
Collaborate with construction teams to meet project deadlines.
Follow OSHA safety standards and project regulations to maintain a safe site.
Assist with general construction tasks as required by site supervisors.
