Job summary

San Bernardino County is seeking a Construction Equipment Worker to perform skilled tasks in building and maintaining roads and flood control channels. The position requires a valid tanker-endorsed Class A or B driver's license and prior field experience with public works projects.

Qualifications

• Must have valid Class A or B Driver's License with tanker endorsement and no restrictions for manual transmission and air brakes.
• Indicate possession of license and endorsements in the application and supplemental questionnaire.
• Nine (9) months of experience as a Construction Equipment Worker Trainee for San Bernardino County OR one (1) year of related construction/maintenance experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform skilled tasks in construction, repair and maintenance of roads and flood control channels.
• Possess experience in roadway and public works settings such as airports, landfills and excavations.
