Job summary

Pike Industries, Inc. is seeking an Equipment Manager East for Maine to oversee the equipment division across locations. You will supervise staff, manage budgets, and drive optimal utilization of rolling stock while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

The ideal candidate has supervisory experience, strong leadership, and a solid understanding of maintenance planning, purchasing, and equipment lifecycle management. Travel to job sites may be required.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or equivalent from two-year college/technical program or related experience.
• Previous supervisory experience is required.
• Strong communication and people skills essential.
• Ability to read/interpret documents and write routine reports.

Responsibilities

• Maintain strong communication with operational managers to ensure equipment needs are met.
• Attend local staff meetings to support operations.
• Oversee group purchasing, safety ideas, and equipment utilization.
• Manage maintenance budgets and outside repairs; ensure timely work and accurate billing.
• Ensure compliance with MSHA, OSHA, DOT regulations and safety rules.
• Lead, coach, and evaluate direct reports annually.
