Job Summary

Ability to maintain and repair heavy construction equipment as well as small auxiliary equipment (compactors, pumps, etc.).

Responsibilities and Duties

1. Complete daily paperwork.
2. Perform heavy equipment repairs and truck maintenance.
3. Conduct minor equipment maintenance.
4. Move small equipment between job sites.
5. Use a pipe laser, transit, and/or laser level for all installations.

Qualifications and Skills

1. Minimum 10 years of experience with equipment and engine repair.
2. Ability to follow specific instructions.
3. Clean driving record.
4. Above-average knowledge of equipment operation.
5. Manpower and equipment management skills.
6. SMC requires a background check and is a drug-free workplace with random testing.
