Job Description:

The diesel mechanic will maintain and repair diesel trucks, ranging in size from tractors/trailers, heavy duty trucks, and step-vans to pick-up trucks. The mechanic is also responsible for maintaining and repairing the mounted contractor's equipment contained on those vehicles.

Location: West Palm Beach, FL

Hours: Monday-Friday, Day Shift

Pay: $25-$35 per hour. (Negotiable based on experience)

Essential Job Functions :

· Maintain and repair diesel trucks of varying sizes.

· Maintain and repair contractor's equipment.

· Maintain and repair gas generators and compressors.

Requirements :

· Willingness to work with a team.

· Valid Driver's License required.

· Must have own tools.

· Working knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems.

· Ability to pass safety training exams and the background check required

· Safety, conscientious, dependable and quality-minded individual.

· Class B CDL, PA Inspection License and Brake Certification are a plus but not required.

. Welding experience is a plus.

. Experience with Gradall, Vactor, Super Vac or Aquatech is a plus.
