Drake Companies LLC seeks an Asset Manager to oversee equipment and physical assets across construction operations, ensuring safety, reliability, and availability for field teams.

The role coordinates with division managers, project managers, and vendors to optimize utilization, minimize downtime, and control costs while supporting budgeting and capital planning. Occasional site visits and travel may be required.

Formación

• Experience in construction equipment management or fleet operations.
• Ability to analyze equipment utilization and costs to support decisions.
• Proficiency with spreadsheets and familiarity with asset management software or telematics systems.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain accurate equipment records including location, hours, condition, ownership status, and maintenance history.
• Coordinate equipment assignments, mobilization, transfers, and demobilization between projects.
• Monitor utilization and address idle, underused, or misallocated assets.
• Forecast equipment needs with Operations and evaluate owned vs rental options.
• Manage preventive maintenance, inspections, service, repairs, and warranty work.
• Review repair estimates and monitor costs and turnaround times.
• Partner with Safety and Operations to maintain safety standards and compliance documentation.
• Ensure unsafe equipment is removed from service until corrective actions are completed.
• Manage relationships with dealers, rental companies, and service providers.
• Negotiate pricing and service terms, manage rental agreements, and coordinate returns.
• Track utilization, downtime, maintenance costs, rental expenses; provide reports and recommendations.
