Job summary

BESIX Group, a leading Belgian construction and development group, offers internships for students in Civil or Construction Engineering. You will support our Technical Office Engineers and Site Superintendents on large-scale projects in Belgium, gaining hands-on experience across buildings, civil works and maritime works.

The internship should last 4 full weeks (ideally 6+). You will learn to prepare schedules, monitor progress, verify subcontractors and material deliveries, and help craft

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in civil/industrial construction engineering, architectural engineering, or electromechanical engineering.
• Internship at BESIX sites in Belgium (buildings, civil works, maritime works) preferred.
• Internship period of at least 4 full weeks (preferably 6+); mention period in your application.
• Dutch or French language skills with good English knowledge.
• Analytical, autonomous, driven; communicative and a team player.
• Flexible and proactive when facing problems and challenges.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparation and follow-up of work schedules and construction methodologies.
• Support coordination and monitoring of daily site activities.
• Participate in follow-up of subcontractors, suppliers, and material deliveries.
• Contribute to preparation of technical documentation, reports, and site administration.
• Attend site meetings and assist in monitoring project progress.
• Help ensure compliance with quality, safety, and environmental standards on site.
• Collaborate with project stakeholders to support successful execution of works.
