Job summary

Chevron’s Construction Engineering Intern program offers hands-on experience across safety, efficiency, and project execution. Interns work with seasoned managers to ensure conformance with safety policies and construction codes while coordinating with engineering and operations to optimize production.

At completion, interns may return or move into full-time roles; the Horizons program supports formal training, mentorship, and multiple assignments across domestic and international sites.

Qualifications

• Students pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Construction Management.
• Strong academic performance in core programs, communication, leadership, teamwork and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to demonstrate The Chevron Way.

Responsibilities

• Support safety, efficiency, quality, scheduling and execution of construction work.
• Coordinate with engineering and operations groups to prioritize and plan project work to reduce downtime and optimize production.
