Job summary

Chevron Corporation offers a 12-month Construction Engineering Intern (Campus Internship) at one of several U.S. locations (El Segundo, CA; Midland, TX; Pascagoula, MS; Richmond, CA).

You will work with experienced construction managers to ensure safety, quality, scheduling, and execution of construction work while adhering to Chevron's policies. Qualified students are pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Construction Management or related field with strong academics and demonstrated

Qualifications

• Students pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Construction Management (or related field).
• Strong academic performance in core programs.
• Demonstrated communication, leadership, teamwork, and problem‑solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Work with experienced construction managers to ensure safety, quality, scheduling, and execution of construction work.
• Ensure conformance with safety policies and project plans.
• Enforce design and construction codes.
• Coordinate with engineering and operations groups to prioritize and plan project work to reduce operating downtime and optimize production.
• Collaborate on the alignment of facilities with current production needs.
• Assist with the preparation of project documentation and reports.
