Job summary

ACCIONA is hiring a Construction Engineering Coordinator for the SR400 Express Lanes Project in Georgia. You will coordinate engineering activities, focusing on temporary works, to support construction and ensure alignment with project schedules.

The role serves as the primary technical liaison between the construction team and the Technical Office, coordinating with subconsultants and design teams to deliver designs that meet field requirements and sequencing needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• 7+ years of experience on heavy civil or transportation construction projects.
• Strong understanding of temporary works and construction sequencing.
• Familiarity with GDOT standards, specifications, and review processes.
• Experience coordinating with design teams and subconsultants.
• Proficiency with engineering software such as Procore, MicroStation, and Bluebeam.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate engineering activities to support construction, focusing on temporary works design.
• Serve as main technical liaison between construction team and Technical Office.
• Coordinate with subconsultants, designers, and discipline leads to ensure timely delivery.
• Monitor review workflows, track deliverables, and address comments to close cycles.
• Support planning, reporting, and documentation for construction activities.
• Ensure compliance with GDOT requirements and project standards.
