Job summary

McCarl's Technical Services is seeking a Project Engineer to coordinate and perform PE scope on projects, supporting construction and design teammates. You will provide technical and administrative support to assigned projects and estimating efforts.

Responsibilities include design reviews, installation work packages, and take-offs, with travel to project locations as needed. Strong communication and construction knowledge are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Construction Management with at least 2 years of industrial construction experience.
• Alternatively an AA or equivalent with 5 years construction or engineering related experience.
• Deep understanding of construction methods, and mechanical systems.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules and maintenance instructions.
• Strong customer relationship skills and communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and perform Project Engineering scope on McCarl's projects.
• Support design reviews and overall execution plans.
• Develop installation work packages and supplier instructions.
• Prepare take-offs and requisitions; monitor purchase orders.
• Troubleshoot design issues with clients and engineering via formal documentation.
• Monitor schedule and track man-hours; prepare status reports.
