Job summary

V3 Companies, a multidisciplinary AEC firm, is seeking a Construction Engineer in our Woodridge, IL office to contribute to career-defining projects that reimagine our built and natural world. You’ll collaborate with 450+ designers, engineers, and scientists across North America to move earth and shape communities.

You will document progress, inspect sites, oversee projects from inception to completion, develop plans and cost estimates, and ensure safety and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering required.
• 2–10 years of related experience preferred.
• EIT or PE a plus.
• Experience managing municipal construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, regulations.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Document progress and conduct inspections with Engineers.
• Oversee municipal construction projects from inception to completion.
• Develop and review project plans, specifications, and cost estimates.
• Conduct site inspections to ensure compliance with design specifications and safety standards.
• Resolve issues during construction.
• Prepare and present project reports and documentation.
• Ensure adherence to regulations and codes.
