Qualifications

• PE license required
• 5+ years of progressive experience in construction engineering
• Experience on IDOT or Illinois Tollway projects
• DOT/METRA construction experience desirable
• Proficiency with IDOT CMMS and ISTHA eBuilder

Responsibilities

• On-site observation of work, repairs, and tests.
• Coordinate construction activities with clients, inspectors, contractors and public agencies.
• Maintain daily site records and logs.
• Review pay requests and verify completed work.
• Serve as liaison with contractor.
• Monitor progress schedule and shop drawing log.
• General civil engineering duties and client service.
