Job summary

Apex Companies, LLC is seeking a Construction Engineer to support CEI projects in Idaho with travel to sites. You will lead transportation construction efforts, oversee inspection staff, manage scope, schedule, and budgets, and ensure compliance with ITD/LHTAC standards.

Ideal candidates hold a PE license with 8+ years in CE&I or materials testing, and are comfortable coordinating with contractors and stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (preferred) or related degree.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in CE&I, transportation construction, or materials testing.
  • Experience working directly with contractors and field staff.
  • Familiarity with AASHTOWare and ProjectWise preferred.
  • Willingness to travel to project sites, including occasional overnight stays.
  • Valid driver’s license.

  • Utilize project management and documentation platforms such as AASHTOWare, ProjectWise, and SharePoint.

Forsgren, an Apex Company, is seeking a Construction Engineer to support and lead transportation construction projects as part of our Construction Engineering & Inspection (CEI) team. This position is remote in Idaho with travel and will play a key role in delivering high-quality infrastructure projects in partnership with state and local agencies.

Annual Expected Pay Range

$104,000 - $176,000 USD
