Job summary

Apex Companies, LLC. is seeking a Civil Engineer in Training / Staff Engineer in Idaho to lead design and coordination on transportation projects. You will prepare drawings, coordinate with clients and regulators, and manage budgets and schedules.

Ideal candidates hold a B.S. in Civil Engineering and are or will become Idaho-licensed PEs within 6 months, with AutoCAD Civil 3D, MicroStation OpenRoads, and Geopak experience. Eligible for a $5,000 sign-on bonus.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Civil Engineering (or related field) required.
• Professional Engineer (PE) registration in Idaho (or ability to obtain within 6 months).
• Experience in Civil Engineering and transportation facilities design.
• Familiarity with ITD procedures and requirements.
• Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D, MicroStation OpenRoads, and Geopak.

• Prepare Engineering drawings, specifications, and contract documents
• Coordinate with clients and regulatory agencies for permitting compliance
• Prepare budgets and schedules for projects
• Support clients with services during bidding, contracting, and construction

What We're Looking For

• B.S. in Civil Engineering (or related field)
• Professional Engineer (PE) registration in Idaho (or ability to obtain within 6 months)
• Civil Engineering experience preferred
• Experience in designing transportation facilities for State transportation departments & local jurisdictions
• Experience with ITD’s procedures and requirements
• Experience in AutoCAD Civil 3D, MicroStation OpenRoads, and Geopak design software
