Job summary

Actalent is seeking a Project Engineer / Estimator for a contract-to-hire role based out of Bloomsdale, MO. The position bridges estimating, project management, and field operations to turn plans into successful civil construction projects.

The role requires reading plans and specifications, strong organizational skills, and proficiency with MS Office and construction software. Compensation is $30.00-$35.00 per hour with benefits and onsite work.

Project Engineer / Estimator

We are seeking an experienced Project Engineer / Estimator to support projects from preconstruction through completion. This role bridges estimating, project management, and field operations by helping turn plans and opportunities into successful projects.

• Assist with bid preparation and project handoff
• Track project costs, quantities, schedules, and documentation

• Identify risks, solve problems, and support successful project execution

Qualifications

• Experience in civil construction, estimating, project engineering, or project management

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and construction-related software
• Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred; equivalent industry experience considered

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
