Job summary

Kapur & Associates, Inc. is seeking a Construction Engineer for our Appleton office to lead WisDOT and local roadway projects. You will oversee construction, perform materials testing, and maintain documentation while coordinating with project teams.

The ideal candidate has a civil engineering or construction management background, field inspection experience, and strong communication skills to work independently and with a team in Wisconsin.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or associate degree in civil engineering or construction management.
• Minimum of two summers of field construction inspection experience with WisDOT, Illinois Tollway, IDOT or other government agency.
• Strong knowledge of roadway and bridge construction projects.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to lead and communicate with project teams.

Kapur is currently seeking a highly motivated individual to join our Appleton office as a Construction Engineer. In this role, you will work on WisDOT or other local agency roadway and bridge construction projects. This position has strong opportunities for growth and advancement as we continue to expand our transportation engineering business line in Wisconsin. We encourage highly motivated engineers or technicians that have a strong interest in advancing in transportation engineering and construction inspection to apply.

Responsibilities:

• Take a leadership role in managing construction projects for WisDOT or other local agencies.

• Experience with CADD or plan preparation for civil infrastructure projects is beneficial.
• Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
