Job summary

HDR in Austin, TX is seeking a Construction EIT to assist the Construction Manager and serve as an owner representative on multiple projects. You will help resolve field design and construction issues, participate in client meetings, and support daily reporting and submittal reviews.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in a related field, strong communication skills, and team-oriented collaboration. Travel to projects in the region may be required; HDR emphasizes employee ownership and quality

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management or closely related field required.
Experience using MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong people skills and ability to interact with the design team.
Active participant in a employee-owned culture.

Responsibilities

Assist the Construction Manager with all facets of project execution.
Assist with the administration of one or multiple construction projects as an owner representative.
Assist with identifying and resolving design and construction issues in the field.
Conduct meetings with client and general contractor.
Work directly with the client and contractor to meet project needs.
Communicate with the project team and client throughout the project.
Oversee QA/QC programs on a project.
Prepare daily project reports and review contractor submittals.
