Job summary

Resource Options, Inc. is seeking an Environmental Health & Safety Manager to lead EHS services across diverse construction projects, acting as the primary contact for company-wide safety matters and driving a positive safety culture.

The role requires 7+ years of related experience, HAZWOPER 40-hour, and strong knowledge of OSHA, USEPA, USACE, and DOT regulations; travel to client sites is expected as needed.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) from an accredited college or university.
• Minimum of 7 years related experience and/or training or equivalent.
• Experience with HAZWOPER safety issues across sites including general and construction.
• Professionalism in managing time, costs, and deadlines; strong communication with employees, management, regulators.
• Familiarity with OSHA, USEPA, USACE, DOT, asbestos regulations, construction safety, industrial hygiene.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and be willing to travel for project site visits.
• Must possess OSHA HAZWOPER 40-hour and Management/Supervisor Training certificates.
• Professional certifications such as CSP, CHMM, or CIH preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage and perform EHS services projects; develop a business plan for EHS services development and marketing materials.
• Develop marketing materials to support business development and external client engagement.
• Develop and maintain relationships with regulator stakeholders and travel to client sites as needed.
• Lead the company Health & Safety Committee and review safety programs for OSHA and federal requirements.
• Maintain EMR < 1.0 to qualify for Federal work opportunities.
• Represent the company when responding to OSHA questions and report as required.
• Conduct or arrange HAZWOPER and other safety training programs and maintain records.
