Job summary

SAVI EHS is seeking an experienced Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) professional to join a large-scale construction project in Fairfield, TX. The EHS Coordinator will work with project leadership and field teams to uphold a strong safety culture, ensure regulatory compliance, and coordinate daily on-site safety activities.

Key responsibilities include conducting daily safety inspections, DHAs/JHAs, managing training records, and tracking safety documentation.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of construction EHS experience required.
• OSHA 510 certification required.
• OSHA 500 certification preferred.
• OSHA 30 certification required.
• If previously worked on campus must have been off the site for 6 months.
• Experience conducting field safety inspections, audits, and safety training.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA Construction Standards (29 CFR 1926).
• Ability to communicate effectively with project teams, subcontractors, and client representatives.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and digital safety management systems.

Responsibilities

• Support Environmental, Health & Safety compliance efforts across the project site.
• Conduct daily safety inspections, audits, and field observations.
• Assist with site-specific orientations and ongoing safety training.
• Participate in Daily Hazard Analyses (DHAs), Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs), and pre-task planning activities.
• Monitor subcontractor and trade partner compliance with project safety requirements.
• Assist with incident investigations and corrective action follow-up.
• Support project leadership in maintaining a proactive, zero-incident safety culture.
• Track and maintain safety documentation, training records, inspections, and compliance reports.
• Identify hazards and work with field teams to implement corrective measures.
