Job summary

Consertus, Inc. is seeking an EHS Construction Coordinator to ensure projects comply with environmental, health, and safety regulations throughout the project lifecycle.

You will work with project managers, site supervisors, and stakeholders to implement and oversee EHS protocols, promoting a culture of safety and sustainability. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health and Safety, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in EHS management or coordination, preferably in the construction industry.
• Knowledge of OSHA, EPA regulations and standards.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement project-specific environmental, health, and safety plans in accordance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
• Conduct regular site inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with EHS standards.
• Coordinate with project teams to address any EHS concerns and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Provide EHS training and guidance to project staff and contractors.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation related to EHS activities, incidents, and compliance.
• Collaborate with regulatory agencies, contractors, and other external stakeholders on EHS-related matters.
• Stay current on industry trends, best practices, and regulatory updates to continuously improve EHS performance.
