Job summary

Wallick is hiring a Construction Draw Accountant for our New Albany, Ohio office. The role focuses on day-to-day management of loan draw preparation, invoice review, budget tracking, and coordination with lenders and the Wallick project team.

The position requires 2+ years in construction accounting, strong Excel skills, and experience with construction-specific accounting software. This is a full-time, on-site role at our corporate office.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in construction accounting, project billing or real estate finance.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with accounting software including construction-specific software strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Loan Draw Preparation – Gather, organize, and submit monthly construction and owner loan draw requests to lenders, banks and other funding sources.
• Invoice & Subcontractor Review – Review vendor invoices, lien waivers, change orders, and AIA billing documents to ensure validity before funding request.
• Budget Tracking – monitor job costs and project expense against approved budgets to prevent cost overruns.
• Lender & Project Coordination – act as primary contract for bank, project managers and developers during fund disbursements.
• Reconciliation – reconcile general ledger asset accounts, loan balances and retainage.
• Other duties may be assigned for business needs.

Position Summary

Position requires work to be performed in an office setting. Extensive use of a computer, keyboard and mouse; requires walking talking, seeing and hearing. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Work takes place in an office setting with moderate noise levels. Work location will be fulltime on-site at corporate office.
