Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Knowledge of the concrete and construction industry preferred.
• 2 years' experience in order taking and concrete dispatch preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receive telephone orders from customers.
• Dispatch truck fleet according to customer's demands.
• Ensure timely and accurate material delivery to the assigned job site.
• Maintain communication with current and future customers.
• Maintain dispatch facilities and keep in good working order all necessary equipment.
• Provide the Dispatch Manager with requests for new or replacement equipment when necessary.
• Follow all company policies and OSHA/MSHA regulations for safe working procedures and environmental best practices; report problems to management.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
