Job summary

HDR is seeking a Construction Design Coordinator to support our project teams in Kansas. The role involves reviewing construction schedules, assisting with cost estimates and specifications, and performing routine engineering tasks using spreadsheets and scheduling software.

You will work both independently on smaller projects and with senior engineers on larger ones. As HDR employee-owners, you contribute to an inclusive culture, maintain strong communication, and help deliver reliable,

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management or closely related field.
Knowledge of MS Office, Primavera, scheduling software, spreadsheets and databases.
Interest and/or experience in the construction field.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Commitment to employee-owned culture.

Responsibilities

Review and verify construction schedules; assist in cost estimates and specifications.
Perform routine engineering tasks using spreadsheets, databases and scheduling software.
Complete projects with clear objectives and limited variables.
Work independently on small projects or assist senior engineers on larger projects.
Provide direction to clerical and technical staff as needed.
Perform other duties as needed.
