Facility Solutions Group, Inc. is seeking a Construction Delivery & Logistics Specialist to support our electrical construction operations in the Indianapolis area.

This role primarily delivers materials, tools, and equipment to active sites and coordinates material flow between the warehouse, vendors, and field teams. Ideal candidates have delivery or construction logistics experience, strong organizational and communication skills, and the ability to work independently.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
• Dependable transportation to and from work.
• Prior professional driving, delivery, construction, logistics, building-material, or similar experience preferred.
• Ability to operate company vehicle and travel to active job sites, vendors, and suppliers.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to count, verify, and track materials.
• Professional communication and reliability; ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate company vehicles to deliver materials, tools, and equipment to active construction job sites.
• Coordinate daily deliveries and pickups based on project needs.
• Pick up materials from vendors, suppliers, and job sites as needed.
• Ensure correct materials and quantities are delivered to projects and locations.
• Communicate professionally with project managers, field supervisors, vendors, and team members.
• Receive incoming materials at the warehouse and unload, inspect, count, and verify them.
• Organize and stage materials for upcoming projects and scheduled deliveries.
• Load and secure materials for safe transportation.
• Assist with inventory counts and warehouse organization.
• Maintain clean, safe delivery vehicles and warehouse areas.
• Perform general warehouse maintenance and assist with additional delivery/ops needs.

We are looking for a dependable and professional Construction Delivery & Logistics Specialist to support our electrical construction operations in the Indianapolis area. This position is primarily responsible for safely and efficiently delivering materials, tools, and equipment to active construction job sites while helping coordinate the flow of materials between our warehouse, vendors, and field teams.

The ideal candidate is someone with prior delivery, construction, building-material, or logistics experience who takes pride in being reliable, organized, and trusted to work independently. This is a hand-on role that requires strong communication, attention to detail, and the ability to represent FSG professionally while interacting with project teams, vendors, and field personnel.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate company vehicles to deliver materials, tools, and equipment to active construction job sites throughout the local area
• Coordinate daily deliveries and pickups based on project and field needs
• Pick up materials, tools, and equipment from vendors, suppliers, and job sites as needed
• Ensure the correct materials and quantities are delivered to the appropriate project and location
• Communicate professionally with project managers, field supervisors, vendors, and other team members regarding deliveries and material needs
• Receive incoming materials, equipment, and deliveries at the warehouse
• Unload, inspect, count, and verify incoming materials for accuracy
• Organize and stage materials for upcoming projects and scheduled job-site deliveries
• Load and secure materials and equipment for safe transportation
• Assist with inventory counts, material tracking, and maintaining accurate organization of warehouse stock
• Maintain company delivery vehicles in a clean and professional condition and report any maintenance or safety concerns
• Maintain an organized, clean, and safe warehouse and loading area
• Perform basic facility upkeep and general warehouse maintenance as neededAssist with additional delivery, logistics, material, and operational needs as assigned

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
• Dependable transportation to and from work
• Prior professional driving, delivery, construction, logistics, building-material, or similar experience strongly preferred
• Comfortable operating a company vehicle and regularly traveling to active construction job sites, vendors, and suppliers
• Ability to safely load, unload, lift, and move construction materials, tools, and equipment throughout the workday
• Strong organizational skills and ability to accurately count, verify, and track materials
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow delivery instructions accurately
• Professional and effective communication skills
• Dependable, punctual, and able to take ownership of assigned responsibilities
• Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently without constant supervision
• Comfortable working in both warehouse and active construction environments
• Ability to maintain a professional attitude and represent FSG appropriately when interacting with customers, vendors, and field personnel
• Willingness to assist with warehouse and facility responsibilities when not completing deliveries

Preferred Experience

Previous experience in construction delivery, route delivery, building-material distribution, electrical or construction supply, logistics, shipping/receiving, or construction operations is strongly preferred.

Experience driving a box truck, cargo van, pickup truck, or similar commercial/company vehicle is a plus. Forklift experience or certification is also beneficial but is not required.
