The Shipping & Loading Technician plays a vital role in ensuring materials, equipment, and tools are loaded, secured, transported, and staged efficiently to support construction projects. This position focuses on loading and unloading trucks, organizing shipments, preparing materials for delivery, and maintaining an organized yard and warehouse to keep field crews productive.
Experience: Warehouse, shipping, loading, construction, or material handling experience preferred. Experience loading flatbed trailers or work trucks is highly preferred. Forklift experience preferred (or willingness to become certified).
Skills: Ability to safely load and secure construction materials. Strong organizational skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Good communication skills. Dependable and punctual.
Physical Requirements: Frequently lift and carry up to 75 pounds. Stand, bend, climb, kneel, and work outdoors in varying weather conditions. Ability to safely operate forklifts and material handling equipment.
Education: High school diploma or GED preferred.
