Job summary

Secretariat seeks a driven student for its Construction Delay team in Atlanta. You will learn how major project schedules are built, updated, and analyzed to uncover delays and causes. You’ll work with Primavera P6 and MS Project to study timelines and project progress.

You will turn findings into expert reports and client-ready deliverables while developing your analytical, communication, and teamwork skills in a fast-paced consulting environment.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, building construction, architecture, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
• Expected graduation date between Dec 2027 and Aug 2028.
• Minimum GPA of 3.0.
• Prior construction/project management experience is helpful but not required.
• Proficiency with MS Office; willingness to learn scheduling tools.

Responsibilities

• Get hands-on experience learning how major construction project schedules are built, updated, and analyzed to uncover delays.
• Use Primavera P6 and MS Project to explore timelines and understand progress.
• Analyze schedules, drawings, reports, emails, and records to piece together key facts.
• Analyze large data sets to spot trends and explain project outcomes.
• Turn research and analysis into clear reports, presentations, and client deliverables.
