Job summary

Secretariat in Los Angeles seeks a motivated student for our Construction Delay Team to learn how major project schedules are built, updated, and analyzed to uncover delays.

You will work with Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project to explore timelines, analyze data, and turn findings into client-ready reports while developing strong communication and teamwork in a fast-paced consulting environment.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, building construction, architecture, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
• Expected graduation between Dec 2027 and Aug 2028.
• Minimum GPA of 3.0.
• Experience in construction project management or scheduling is helpful but not required.
• Proficiency with Word, Excel, PowerPoint; curiosity to learn scheduling tools.

Responsibilities

• Get hands-on experience learning how major construction project schedules are built, updated, and analyzed to uncover delays.
• Use scheduling tools like Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project to explore timelines and progress.
• Analyze project records to piece together key facts and identify what happened.
• Translate research and analysis into clear expert reports and client deliverables.
