Job summary

Secretariat invites students to join their Construction Delay team to learn how major construction schedules are built, updated, and analyzed to uncover delays. You will work with engineers, schedulers, and project teams on global buildings, infrastructure, and energy projects.

You will use Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project to study timelines, piece together facts from drawings and reports, and contribute to client deliverables.

Qualifications

  • Pursuing Bachelor’s in engineering or related field; Master’s preferred.
  • Graduation expected Dec 2027–Aug 2028.
  • Minimum GPA 3.0.
  • PM/scheduling experience helpful but not required.
  • Proficient with MS Office; curiosity to learn new tools.
  • Travel up to 15% depending on project.
  • Collaborative, strong communication, detail-oriented.
  • Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

  • Get hands-on experience learning how major construction project schedules are built and analyzed to uncover delays.
  • Work with Primavera P6 and MS Project to explore timelines and progress.
  • Dig into schedules, drawings, progress reports, emails, and records to piece together facts.
  • Analyze large data sets to spot trends and explain project outcomes.
  • Turn research into expert reports, presentations, and client deliverables.
