The ideal candidate has a JD from an ABA‑accredited school, active CA bar, and 5+ years in construction defense litigation with strong writing and advocacy skills. Some travel may be required and a supportive team environment is offered.

Qualifications

• JD required from ABA‑accredited law school.
• Active California state bar membership in good standing required.
• 5+ years of construction defense litigation or related practice.
• Strong knowledge of construction law, contracts and dispute resolution processes.
• Excellent writing, analytical, organizational, and oral advocacy skills.
• Ability to manage multiple cases and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Represent clients in construction defense litigation from pre‑litigation through trial and appeals.
• Draft pleadings, motions, and discovery; conduct legal research and analysis.
• Advise clients on strategy and potential settlement options; negotiate resolutions.
• Mentor junior associates and collaborate with partners on complex matters.
