Confidential Employer in Los Angeles, CA, is seeking an attorney to manage litigation matters from intake to resolution within a boutique firm focusing on construction, prevailing wage, business, and real estate disputes.

You will conduct research, draft motions and pleadings, participate in hearings and negotiations, and develop strategies with senior attorneys while building strong client relationships. California Bar admission required; 1+ year litigation experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Active California Bar admission in good standing.
• 1+ year of litigation experience.
• J.D. from an accredited law school.
• Strong research and writing skills.
• Ability to manage multiple matters and deadlines.
• Excellent communication and client-service mindset.

Responsibilities

• Manage litigation matters from intake through resolution with increasing responsibility.
• Conduct legal research and prepare motions, briefs, pleadings, discovery, and correspondence.
• Participate in court hearings, depositions, negotiations, and other proceedings.
• Communicate directly with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel.
• Analyze contracts, evidence, and discovery to identify key issues.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys on case strategy and prep for events.
• Track court deadlines and milestones to keep matters moving.
• Develop strategies in construction, prevailing wage, business, and real estate disputes.
• Build strong client relationships with responsive, high-quality work.
