Job summary

Hoffman Construction is seeking a Data Analyst to build and maintain a centralized historical project database for Hoffman's self-perform operations. The role focuses on collecting, validating, and analyzing data including unit rates, labor costs, salaries, and cost of work to improve estimating and performance analysis.

The ideal candidate will be highly analytical and proficient in Power BI, Excel, Smartsheet, and data modeling, with strong communication and collaboration skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Data Analytics, or related field, or equivalent.
• 3+ years of professional data analysis and BI reporting experience required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a centralized historical project database for Hoffman's self-perform operations.
• Analyze data to improve estimating and forecasting accuracy and support decision-making.
• Create dashboards and reports using Power BI, Excel, and Smartsheet.
• Validate data integrity, automate collection and reporting processes, and develop QC checks.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align analytics with project goals.
