Job summary

IREN Group seeks a Construction Data Analyst to drive trusted reporting and actionable insights across an air-cooled HPC data-center program. You will integrate schedule, cost, procurement, workforce, quality, safety, commissioning, and turnover data to identify risk and improve forecast accuracy for preconstruction through turnover.

You will partner with construction leadership and trades to translate complex data into clear visuals and practical actions for field teams and executives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Data Science, Construction Management, Engineering, Finance, CS, or related field; equivalent experience considered.
• Minimum of 3 years in data analytics, project controls, or construction reporting in mission-critical or data center projects.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and BI platforms (Power BI/Tableau) with data modeling and dashboarding.
• Proficiency in SQL; experience with data extraction, cleaning, transforming, joining, and reconciling across systems.
• Strong knowledge of CPM schedules, WBS, cost codes, budgets, changes, and earned value.
• Ability to interpret data across electrical, mechanical, and civil scopes from design to turnover.
• Ability to define data definitions, perform quality checks, and maintain audit-ready reporting.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for stakeholders and field teams.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain project reporting framework with KPIs, calendars, and source of truth for construction performance.
• Integrate data from schedules, cost systems, procurement, Procore, and turnover trackers.
• Develop dashboards and scorecards for leadership and discipline teams across milestones and costs.
• Validate owner/contractor data, investigate exceptions, and maintain audit trails.
• Analyze schedule health, risk, and forecast performance; provide early warnings.
• Analyze budget, commitments, costs, EAC, and forecast variance with project teams.
• Track electrical, mechanical, and civil readiness through design release to turnover.
• Automate data prep and reporting workflows, document logic, and improve data quality.
• Prepare weekly/monthly performance reports and explain drivers behind trends.
