The Construction Crew Foreman (CF) will lead a team to construct quality projects that are profitable and provide a positive construction experience for customers.
Salary: $36.00 to $39.00 per hour based on experience, plus bonus potential.
Construction Crew Foreman Responsibilities:
- Provide professional leadership by creating a safe, organized, productive, and enjoyable work environment, treating all employees and customers with dignity and respect.
- Ensure crew members, including new hires, are fully trained and adhere to safety and construction procedures.
- Coordinate with the Area Crew Supervisor for ongoing training, utilizing manuals and best practices.
- Communicate with customers regarding contractual aspects of projects.
- Organize tasks for crew members to maximize success, utilizing their skills for training and growth, and ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Lead by example, fostering cooperation for timely project starts and finishes.
- Plan daily activities, review assignments, set expectations, and discuss safety and performance.
- Manage projects, including plan reading, scheduling, coordinating suppliers and subcontractors, and ensuring project completion.
- Participate in interviewing, hiring, and integrating new employees.
- Recommend promotions, demotions, and wage adjustments.
- Enforce company policies related to safety, construction, and corporate standards.
- Complete all required paperwork accurately, including time reports, DOT logs, mileage, and change orders.
Qualifications:
- At least 3 years of management experience in the building construction industry.
- OSHA 10-hour, Equipment Operation, and Competent Person Certifications.
- Valid Class A CDL license.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds regularly, up to 100 pounds occasionally.
- Proficiency in operating construction tools and equipment safely and efficiently.
- Capability to work at heights and in physically demanding environments.
- Flexibility to work various schedules and weather conditions.
- Commitment to quality work and efficiency.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Organizational and planning skills, with the ability to measure and improve productivity.
- Ability to identify training needs and foster team development.

- This role requires approximately 20% travel, including overnight stays possibly up to two weeks.
