Job summary

Beale Infrastructure Group is seeking an experienced Construction Counsel to support end-to-end project development, drafting, reviewing, and negotiating construction-related agreements. The role partners with senior leaders to manage risk and drive efficient execution across hyperscale data center programs.

The candidate will advise on risk allocation, contract structuring, and commercial strategy for large-scale developments, coordinating with outside counsel to address claims and disputes

Qualifications

• J.D. from a top-tier law school and extensive construction law experience.
• Experience drafting and negotiating construction, design, engineering, and procurement contracts.
• Experience supporting large-scale infrastructure or real estate development projects.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate construction, design, engineering, and procurement contracts.
• Advise on risk allocation, contract structuring, and commercial strategy for large-scale data center developments.
• Coordinate with outside counsel on construction claims, disputes, delays, and change orders.
• Partner with senior leaders to support complex development projects with practical legal solutions.
• Provide guidance on contract interpretation and risk mitigation to internal teams.
• Manage external counsel and align legal work with project timelines.
• Contribute to development of legal processes, templates, and playbooks as the function scales.
• Support other commercial and corporate matters as needed.
