DBI Construction Consultants in the United States is seeking Construction Cost Estimators across multiple office locations, including New York City. You will analyze costs, timelines, and risks from field and office data to deliver practical estimates and reports.

The role requires a civil/ mechanical/ structural engineering background, strong analytical and Excel skills, and willingness to travel up to ~30% to site locations. Competitive compensation and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil / mechanical / structural engineering, construction management, or related field.
• Past construction or risk management internship experience preferred.
• Strong analytical, communication and technical reading skills.
• Advanced Excel skills; Xactimate/scheduling software experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with site visits to collect measurements, photos, and project details.
• Support the analysis of labor, materials, and timelines for project estimates.
• Help track costs and flag differences between projected and actual figures.
• Learn to prepare professional reports and data entries in estimating tools.
• Gain exposure to industry software like Xactimate, Bluebeam Revu, and project scheduling tools.
