DBI Construction Consultants in the United States seeks a Construction Cost Estimator to analyze costs, timelines and risks while visiting sites to gather real-world data. You’ll produce practical reports to help clients move forward and support the estimating process with field and office work.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil, mechanical, structural engineering or construction management.
• Internship experience in construction or risk management preferred.
• Strong analytical, communication and technical reading skills.
• Advanced Excel skills; Xactimate and scheduling software experience preferred.
• Willingness to travel ~30% and work in varied field conditions.

Responsibilities

• Assist with site visits to collect measurements, photos, and project details.
• Support analysis of labor, materials, and timelines for project estimates.
• Help track costs and flag differences between projected and actual figures.
• Learn to prepare professional reports and data entries in estimating tools.
• Gain exposure to industry software like Xactimate, Bluebeam Revu, and scheduling tools.
