DBI Construction Consultants seeks a Construction Cost Estimator to analyze costs, timelines, and risks across multiple field sites. You will visit sites, collect measurements, and produce practical estimates supported by data and industry standards.

You will collaborate with project teams, prepare professional reports, and use tools like Xactimate and Bluebeam Revu. Travel up to 30% is required, and a bachelor's degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil/ mechanical/ structural engineering or construction management or related field.
• Internship experience in construction or risk management preferred.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Advanced Excel skills; Xactimate and scheduling software experience preferred.
• Willingness to travel ~30% and work in varied field conditions.

Responsibilities

• Assist with site visits to collect measurements, photos, and project details.
• Support analysis of labor, materials, and timelines for project estimates.
• Help track costs and flag differences between projected and actual figures.
• Learn to prepare professional reports and data entries in estimating tools.
• Gain exposure to industry software like Xactimate, Bluebeam Revu, and scheduling tools.
